Tasters & Classes at Ceramics Classes London

Face masks are not mandatory now in the studio but if a class student or member has tested positive for Covid-19 recently for the safety of others please do not come to the studio.

1. Payment of the full course fees should be made in advance. It is not possible to attend a course until payment has been received. Refunds are only offered at our discretion at Ceramics Classes London however, we would consider changing the name of the attendee or offering a gift card.

2. A taster session is a ceramic experience so in the event that work explodes during the firing process Ceramics Classes London cannot be held responsible for technical failure as this is the nature of ceramics. Tasters may keep only 2 pots per person.

3. Classes /tasters must clean up after themselves to avoid health and safety issues in the studio. Clay dust contains silica and it is harmful to breathe in, inhalation of clay dust develops silicosis. Glaze ingredients are toxic so masks should be worn when using glazes and food and drink must not be consumed around glazes.

3. Courses may keep 3 pots per session and over a four week course 9 pots can be glazed in the final glazing session per person.

4. Ceramics Classes London are not responsible for personal belongings or any work getting damaged, lost or stolen. It is inevitable that in a communal studio there will occasionally be work that gets damaged, lost or stolen.
