New Teenager One Week Courses

Beginner level

📍Hammersmith Studio every Monday!

  • Monday-Friday 10.30-1pm or 4-6.30pm

Learn how to throw on the pottery wheel and how to hand build with clay: pinching, coiling, slab building and pressing clay into plaster moulds with decorating slips and a glazing session to follow once all your work has bisqued.

Projects are self directed with expert guidance from our teachers.

Level 2 Intermediate Throwing: 4 or 8 weeks courses

Must have completed a beginner course to progress to L2 as it is Intermediate so you must be able to centre clay and be confident to throw cylinders and bowl shapes.

📍Hammersmith

Wednesdays

  • Wednesday July 31st (4 or 8 weeks) 18:00-21:00 hrs

Challenge yourself to make larger work on the pottery wheel throwing component parts, joining and assembling larger pots. Learn how to construct a water jug from three thrown pieces / elements. Design and plan forms, weighing, measuring and preparing clay.

Birthday Parties

📍Hammersmith or Barnes Studio

Enquire about adult or children’s parties for small or large groups in our Hammersmith or Barnes studios. Choose whether to throw a pot on the pottery wheel, make plates or sculptures in clay and decorate with coloured slips. A clear glaze will be applied to the finished work. Ready to collect 5 weeks after the party.
